How is it free?
City Watch is built by Environmental Safeguard Solutions, a NYC environmental inspection and compliance company. The software is free for everyone. If a violation ever needs boots on the ground — an inspection, testing, or remediation — you can request a quote from ESS right inside the platform. You only ever pay if you choose to hire us for services.
Pricing questions

- Yes. Monitoring, alerts, and the dashboard are free. Optional inspection and remediation services from ESS are quoted separately, only if you request them.
- Do I need a credit card to sign up?
- No. Create an account with just your email — there is nothing to cancel because there is nothing to bill.
- What do comparable tools cost?
- NYC violation-monitoring platforms typically charge per building per month, with enterprise tools priced by custom quote. City Watch charges nothing.
